Finishing houses T1 & T2

The finishing buildings T1 e T2 are identical. Each one has 32 finishing pens with partially slatted floors.

The six finishing buildings are fed by a partially automated liquid feed system. The feed is mixed with whey and water in a mixing tank, and is then circulated through the six finishing houses. The controlling computer then moves from trough to trough in sequence: if the trough is not full, it is filled up to the level sensor. Once full, the computer moves to the next trough. The process is normally done twice at each feeding time.
