Gestation 3

This gestation building was built in 1994, to hold 400 sows in stalls. Half were installed at that time to accomodate an increase to 750 sows, and half the building is empty, ready to accept the remaining 200 stalls, thus permitting an increase to 1,000 sows.

There are three pens for use as necessary (boar for detecting returns, injured sows, early farrowing sows).
