Grower house 4

This is a mixed-use building. It has 20 pens which can be used for grower animals undergoing drug treatment, or as auxiliary space for growers.

It also has 8 raised farrowing pens which are used to bring underweight weaned piglet up to normal weaning weight, suckling a culled sow. This facilitates weaning management greatly and reduces piglet mortality. After 10-15 days suckling, the piglets are then moved into the weaner buildings.
