Weaner house 2

This building is part of the same building as Farrowing house 2. These four rooms were projected as farrowing rooms once the herd was increased to 1,000 sows. Until that time, they are being used as weaner housing. The raised floor for farrowing pens already exists.

Each of the four rooms holds 10 weaner pens.

  • These rooms can easily be transformed into farrowing rooms, by installing farrowing crates on the existing raised floors
  • Adjustable wooden shutters for ventilation control
