The six finishing buildings share a computerised liquid feed system. Mixing is done in a tank and the mix is distributed by pipe. Each trough is filled to the set level in turn.

Two Schneider pumps circulate the mix through the buildings.

The system was developed on-farm.

Pneumatic valves control feed flow into the troughs..

The feed downpipe is seen on the right. The pipe on the left contains the level sensor. The troughs are double-sided and feed two pens.
